Hikikomori in the soul means having no boundaries with being awake all night long.

Here, in Canada, with Covid-19 it also means a curfew from 8pm to 5am.

For me the situation with schedule has always been emotional. Now being a remote University student, it his less challenging has I work as it pleases me.

Being a Hikikomori is definetly a life habit inherent to modernity and beyong. Has so, it gives an impression of living somewhere between society’s dream and an oriental landscape.

There are 1million of us in Japan only. And maybe another half million in France only. We navigate the world has what you imagine an hermit would be. It his ackward in this day of age. Most of the response from closed ones would be to call Hikikomori ‘weird’.

We are in fact the symptom has well as the response against Competition, Productivity, Speed, Efficiency and Responsability.

Most of us have a presence online. A sense of humour made of desparate cold and fractured ideas about the world. Our seriousness, or maybe it his sadness, reached the Autistic, the Catatonic, the others who understand pain.

Our choices hit imagination. My withdraw is similar to a strike. A way to underline the many situation which are not OK. As a whole because it is overwhelming the amounts there are to care for.
